Overview

While the over-water bungalows get all the attention, every accommodation at Le Meridien Bora Bora offers intimate access to the incredibly beautiful lagoon at this Polynesian paradise.

Like something out of a daydream, Le Meridien Bora Bora perched beside, and atop, a crystalline blue lagoon. The beachfront bungalows, each with their own private water access and hammock, rest on the fine white sand beach amid coconut groves. The over water bungalows, as their name implies, are built on stilts above the lagoon. Spotting marine life has never been so fun, as each has a glass floor with a clear view down to the water.

This luxurious leisure resort provides a relaxed atmosphere perfect for everything from romantic dinners, to deep-sea fishing, to snorkeling, to shark feeding (which happens at a safe distance from the lagoon). Le Tipanie restaurant offers a variety of cuisine, with a different themed buffet every evening. Seafood night is especially popular with lobster lovers.

A turtle sanctuary at Le Meridien Bora Bora is the only one of its kind in French Polynesia, and allows guests to experience swimming with the magnificent hawksbill sea turtle.
