Built in 1932 but renovated in 2004, the Alvear Palace Hotel is located in Recoleta, the hottest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Here, majestic European decor gets a modern makeover.

Buenos Aires' Recoleta is a trendy, storied neighborhood famed as the "Paris of the Americas," packed with parks, shops, and historic monuments. Keeping with the neighborhood's Fin de Siècle French architecture, the Alvear Palace Hotel is designed and decorated in the styles of Louis XV and XVI. Objets d'art are on display in rooms and suites, including several pieces from Argentina's prominent artists.
